Cricket legends Chris Gayle, a two-time T20 World Cup champion, and Ali Khan, a prominent figure in USA cricket, inaugurated the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Trophy Tour last week in New York. They illuminated the Empire State Building in the vibrant blue and pink colors emblematic of the event.

Subsequently, the Trophy made its way to iconic landmarks in New York City, including the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, and The Edge. Fans had the opportunity to capture moments with the Trophy during activations at a New York Islanders NHL game and Penn Station.

The Trophy proceeded to Long Island and Nassau County, where it was greeted by a procession of Emergency Service vehicles at the soon-to-be-completed Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, set to host nine T20 World Cup matches in June.

Team USA extends a warm welcome to the Trophy at the Houston Space Station.

Continuing its journey, the Trophy traveled to Texas, specifically the Space Station in Houston, where it was met by Team USA during their preparation training camp. Following Houston, the Trophy made its way to Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, where the opening match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup between USA and Canada is scheduled to take place in June.

The Texas Rangers, reigning 2023 World Series Champions, also honored the T20 World Cup Trophy at their home stadium in Arlington. Wrapping up activities in Texas, the Holi Festival in Frisco drew 3,000 attendees, offering fans a chance to capture memories with the prestigious Trophy.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Trophy Tour proceeds to South America.

The tour progresses to South America, making stops in burgeoning cricket nations like Brazil and Argentina, before heading to Jamaica in April.
